What do you like most about grad school life at UH?
"Everyday is different and I am constantly learning new things."

Where is your favorite place to go in the city?
"Montrose. The art scene and night life are always fun."

Best corner on campus (for work or play)?
"The Cullen Fountain Plaza behind the biology greenhouse. It's a nice place to escape if a day has been particularly hectic."

What do you like the most about grad school life at UH?
"Being around a diverse student population on campus is my favorite thing about grad school."

Where is your favorite place to go in the city?
"Hermann Park for the gardens and musical/theatrical performances."

Best corner on campus (for work or play)?
"The Nook Cafe is a great place to read and also to relax."

Where is your favorite place to go in the city?
Hermann Park. I enjoy jogging and watching performances at the Miller outdoor theater."

"The Student Center.  Everything is at one location."

What do you like the most about grad school life at UH?
"I like the diversity at UH. It's great to be able to hangout with people from all around the world, with different backgrounds and opinions."

Where is your favorite place to go in the city?
"Hermann Park or Buffalo Bayou. But my dog Fika votes for Buffalo Bayou because there is a nicer dog park there."

What are your favorite restaurants in Houston?
"Mia Bella Trattoria and Tamashi Ramen."

What do you like the most about grad school life at UH?
"What I like most about grad school life at UH are the social events planned by the staff and graduate student council because it give [us] a chance to take a break from the lab to enjoy a meal and mingle with students from other groups or are in other buildings."

Where is your favorite place to go in the city?
"The Galleria area is one of my favorite places to go in Houston."

What did you like the most about grad school life at UH?
"Graduate school life involves studying, research, and teaching, and I enjoyed all of them. It's a time where you don't have to worry much about things other than science."

Where were your favorite places to go in the city?
"The many great restaurants in Houston!"

Best corner on campus (for work or play)?
"There are cafes at almost every corner of UH—the student center, the library, and many other places. I like to take one or two coffee breaks a day."
